Below are the press releases that Wealthy Max has issued regarding key milestones in its on-going struggle for justice and to clear its name.
PR1 – The announcement of Wealthy Max’ filing of a motion to dismiss the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey’s civil forfeiture case, due to the numerous errors and misrepresentations in both the original and amended complaints.
PR2 – The announcement of Wealth Max’ suit against the Treasury, Mint and Bureau of Customs and Border Protection in the U.S. District Court in Philadelphia. The suit argued that the government violated the Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act of 2000 (“CAFRA”) and the Fourth and Fifth Amendments to the Constitution in its seizure of Wealthy Max’ property without appropriate notification
PR3 – Statement by Wealthy Max regarding the six month suspension of the Mint’s Mutilated Coin Redemption Program that was announced in October 2015.
PR4 – Wealthy Max announcement of its plan to hold a public audit of 13 metric tons of mutilated coins that had been in storage in Hong Kong since September 2014.
PR5 – A review of the Customs and Border Protection lab report on the coins seized by the government and accused of being counterfeit. The report did not indicate that the coins tested came from Wealthy Max, it did not conclude that they were counterfeit and its results in general were inconclusive.
PR6 – Update on the plans to hold the audit of 13 metric tons of Wealthy Max coins in Hong Kong, and the fact that invitations had been sent to members of Congress as well as officials from all relevant government agencies.
PR7 – A report on the successful public audit of 13 metric tons of Wealthy Max coins in Hong Kong, organized and overseen by members of the FormerFedsGroup.
